If you run an independent US studio, Mindbody’s published starting price is only the base subscription per location, not your all-in bill. All-in monthly cost usually also depends on plan tier, payment processing, messaging or marketing add-ons, branded-app options, onboarding, and any marketplace or discovery-related fees if you use those channels. Verified 2026-09-12 from Mindbody’s own US pages. The pricing page (mindbodyonline.com/business/pricing) says starting at $79 USD/month per location. The education post “Mindbody Pricing in the US” (last updated 2026-08-28) uses the same starting language. Accelerate and Ultimate: contact Mindbody for pricing.
Tiers named on that pricing page: Starter, Accelerate, Ultimate. Starter is described as booking, payments, reporting, website widgets, and a listing on the Mindbody app. The $79 line is the published floor, not the all-in bill.

- Payment processing: Mindbody Payments is offered on every plan and is not required. Rates are based on the plan you select. Mindbody says talk to their team for custom pricing.
- Email and SMS: booking confirmations and reminders are described as included on Accelerate and above. Full campaigns are described on Ultimate, with a monthly text bundle. Extra texts are described as a fraction of a cent each.
- Branded mobile app: listed as an add-on on Accelerate and Ultimate (not on Starter).
- AI Concierge: listed as an add-on on Accelerate and included on Ultimate.
- Onboarding: Mindbody’s FAQ says there is no setup fee on any plan and that one-on-one onboarding is included. Premium implementation is priced separately. Confirm what you were quoted.
- Marketplace / Mindbody app: listing is described as free. A fee applies only when the app delivers a client you would not have received otherwise. Mindbody states that fee as 20%, capped at $30, on the first purchase for someone new to your business.
- Contract and cancel: Mindbody says it depends on your plan, billing terms, and promotions. Ask for term length, increase clauses, and the cancel path in writing.
Do not use third-party typical-quote tables as facts. Secondary blogs disagree with each other and with Mindbody’s published $79 starting line.
